Marianna Academy for Preschool is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing high-quality, nurturing early childhood education for families in our community. Our mission is to help children learn, grow, and thrive while supporting local families and building a brighter future for Marianna
Why We Exist
We believe every child deserves a safe, loving environment where curiosity is celebrated and learning comes naturally. Founded on the principle that quality early education should be accessible to all families — regardless of income — M.A.P. has served the Marianna community for years, providing developmentally appropriate care from infancy through pre-kindergarten.
How It All Began
Marianna Academy for Preschool was born from a simple but powerful belief: that the earliest years of a child's life are the most formative, and that every family in our community deserves access to exceptional early learning.
What started as a small, grassroots effort has grown into a trusted nonprofit serving infants, toddlers, and preschoolers across Jackson County. Our programs are designed around the latest research in child development, blending structured learning with the freedom to explore, play, and discover.
As a nonprofit, every dollar we receive goes directly back into our classrooms, our educators, and the children we serve. We are proud to participate in Florida's Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program, making high-quality pre-K available at no cost to eligible families.

Specializing in the youngest learners, our infant and toddler lead creates warm, responsive environments where babies and toddlers thrive.
Our preschool lead brings creativity and structure together, preparing children for kindergarten while keeping learning fun and meaningful.
Accreditation & Licensing
Marianna Academy for Preschool is fully licensed by the State of Florida and participates in the Gold Seal Quality Care program, recognizing our commitment to exceeding minimum childcare standards. We are also an approved VPK provider, offering Florida's free pre-kindergarten program to eligible four-year-olds.
